FAQ
Choosing a tallit size, which straps you need, strings vs. tying, delivery and returns.
Ordering & payment
How do I place an order?
Choose an item, select the options you need — the price updates instantly — and add it to the cart. At checkout, leave your contact details and address. After you submit, we'll call during business hours to confirm the details, delivery cost and payment method.
Do I need an account?
No. You can order without registering — a name, phone, email and delivery address are enough.
How do I pay?
Online payment isn't connected yet. We'll agree on the payment method when we call to confirm your order.
Can I order by phone or WhatsApp?
Yes. On product pages and in the cart there's an “Order on WhatsApp” button that sends us a message with all your selected options. You can also just call us.
How do I change or cancel an order?
Call us with your order number — it's shown on the confirmation page. It's easiest to change an order before it ships or is made to your specification.
Delivery & returns
How much is delivery and how long does it take?
We deliver across Israel. Timing and cost depend on the address and the order — we'll confirm both by phone after you order.
Can I pick up my order?
Our workshop is at 1 HaNechoshet St, Ashdod. If you'd rather pick up your order, tell us when we call and we'll arrange a time.
Can I return an item?
Yes, under Israel's Consumer Protection Law. Items made or tied to your order may not be returnable — see Shipping, cancellation & returns for details.
Will the item look like the photo?
We photograph our own products, but leather and fabric shades can look slightly different due to lighting and screen settings. If a detail matters, ask and we'll send another photo.
Tefillin straps
Which straps do I need?
Replacing both straps — take a set. Only one is worn — a single Shel Rosh or Shel Yad strap. Set length depends on custom and is shown in metres next to each option.
What's the difference between Standard, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Yahalom?
These are different lines of straps. We'll gladly explain the differences by phone and help you choose.
Matte, glossy or nappa — what's the difference?
This is the surface finish of the strap. Not sure which to choose? Call us and we'll advise.
When should straps be replaced?
If the straps are cracked, the paint has worn off or the leather is damaged, show your tefillin to a rav — he will tell you whether they need replacing.
Can I replace the straps myself?
Replacing straps takes knowledge and experience. If you haven't done it before, turn to someone who does this work or consult a rav.
Tallitot
How do I choose a tallit size?
The size depends on your height and how you wear the tallit. Each model has its own size chart — call us and we'll help you choose.
Black-striped or white tallit — which one?
It's a matter of community and family custom. If you're not sure which tallit is right for you, ask your rav.
How do I care for a wool tallit?
Keep the tallit folded in its bag, away from moisture. Clean it according to the care label; if in doubt, ask us.
Tzitzit
What's the difference between strings and tying?
Two separate choices: “strings” is how thick the tzitzit strings are, “tying” is which custom they're tied by. Choose “without strings” and the item ships untied.
Thin, medium or thick strings?
It's a matter of custom and personal preference. If your community has a custom, follow it; if in doubt, ask your rav.
Wool or cotton?
The choice of material depends on custom and personal preference. If in doubt, ask your rav.
How do I choose a tallit katan size?
Go by your usual clothing size (S–XXL). We'll confirm exact measurements in centimetres before shipping.
Kashrut
Who supervises your products?
The certificates and authorities supervising our products are listed on the Kashrut page. We'll send a copy of the certificate for a specific item on request.
Can you advise on halachic questions?
We're happy to help you understand our products and their options. Halachic questions — which custom applies to you, whether something needs replacing — are best settled with your rav.
Wholesale
Do you work with stores and communities?
Yes. We supply strap rolls, tallitot and tzitzit wholesale to stores, workshops and communities. Send a request on the Wholesale page and we'll share terms and lead times.
Can I get an invoice for my business?
Yes — enter your company name and business ID in the “For business” section at checkout.
